How to Find Affiliate Offers to Promote (5 Proven Methods)

When I began affiliate marketing with my cryptocurrency affiliate site, finding affiliate offers to promote in a fast moving industry was essential for survival.

Once you get to a certain size, brands will start approaching you, but before that, I was on my own.

I developed a system to uncover great affiliate programs in just about any niche.

Whether you’re running a blog, building a creator brand, or just trying to monetize your audience, these five methods will help you find the best affiliate offers in the niche.

🧠 Sign Up for Affiliate Networks

The best way to find affiliate offers to promote is by signing up for the major affiliate networks.

Affiliate networks like Impact, CJ, and Awin host thousands of offers across every niche imaginable.

Once you’re inside an affiliate network, use filters to find relevant offers:

  • Search by keyword (e.g. “scuba” or “pet”)
  • Filter by commission model
  • Sort by niche
  • Service Areas to filter by countries

Example: A quick search for “scuba” surfaced three affiliate programs I could apply to directly.

These networks are free to join, and there’s no downside to signing up.

I’ve compiled a list of the best affiliate networks inside the Skool community, so be sure to check it out.

Clicking into an affiliate offer on most networks will allow you to see it's EPC, a great indicator of how profitable an affiliate program is.

🔎 Use Google to Find Direct Affiliate Programs

Sometimes the easiest place to start is with a simple search.

Try Googling:

“Best [Your Niche] Affiliate Programs”

An example of me Googling "Best Pet Affiliate Programs."

You’ll likely see:

  • Google Gemini AI overviews
  • Affiliate round-up blog posts (like Backlinko or Diggity Marketing)
  • Brand pages that directly promote their affiliate program

Also, try ChatGPT with prompts like:

“What are the best pet and dog affiliate programs?”

🕵️‍♂️Look Up Brands Directly

If you’re deep in a niche, you probably already know the top products and brands.

Try Googling:

“[Brand Name] affiliate program”

For example:

  • I use scuba gear from ScubaPro and Tilos, both of which had affiliate programs I could apply to directly.

These are often the highest-converting programs—because you’re recommending products you genuinely use and trust.

📦 Browse Product Marketplaces

If a brand doesn’t have a DTC affiliate program, don’t worry. You can often still earn commissions through Amazon Associates.

For example:

  • Shearwater, a scuba brand, doesn’t offer a direct affiliate program
  • But their products are listed on Amazon, so I can still promote them and earn a commission

Even better? You’ll earn on everything they purchase within 24 hours, not just the linked product.

Alternative: Look into TikTok Shop or Walmart Affiliates as well.

📲 Spy on Competitor Content

This method is manual—but powerful.

You can:

  • Browse your competitor’s blog posts
  • Hover over product links to spot affiliate URLs
  • Look for UTM tags like utm_source=affiliate or networks like impact.com, pxf.io, awstrack.me, etc.

Advanced: Use a tool like Ahrefs:

  • Plug in a competitor’s site
  • Go to Outgoing Links > Linked Domains
  • See which sites they’re linking to the most (many will be affiliate offers)

Example:

I analyzed VettStreet’s article on the best dry cat foods. Some links go to Amazon, but others—like Smalls or Dr. Cuddles—were affiliate links through Impact. I wouldn’t have found those offers through Google alone.
